Eligibility Criteria :-

• Mechanical Engineering :- BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution with minimum 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Valid GATE-2026 score in Mechanical Engineering (ME) required.
• Electrical Engineering :- BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution with minimum 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Valid GATE-2026 score in Electrical Engineering (EE) required.
• Chemical Engineering :- BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / Petrochemical Engineering / Petrochemical Technology from a recognized institution with minimum 60% aggregate marks for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD. Valid GATE-2026 score in Chemical Engineering (CH) required.
• Additional Requirements :- Indian Nationals only. Only valid GATE-2026 marks are considered; marks from any previous or other GATE examination will not be accepted.

Selection Process :-

• Stage 1 :- Shortlisting via GATE-2026 Score: Initial shortlisting is based purely on valid GATE-2026 marks (out of 100). In case of a tie in GATE marks, the candidate with higher marks in the essential qualification (degree) will be ranked higher. Shortlisted candidates are called in the ratio of 1:5 (1 post : 5 candidates), category/reservation-wise.
• Stage 2 :- Group Discussion (GD): Shortlisted candidates participate in Group Discussion as part of the selection process.
• Stage 3 :- Personal Interview (PI) & Document Verification: Candidates called for Personal Interview will undergo document verification at the time of interview. Final merit list is prepared as per MRPL’s prevailing rules.

Note :- MRPL reserves the right to add, modify or delete any test in the selection process. A panel of suitable candidates may be created and kept valid for one year.
